Magic and Hypnosis every month at Grind Base

The private association Grind Base in Barcelona includes among its activities for members a magic exhibition with live card tricks and a hypnosis session.

If there's one thing any association knows, it's that activities are essential every month, as these events are what build community. The association serves as a meeting point and should also be used to educate, provide information on risk prevention, offer advice on better consumption habits, and, above all, foster social connections. There are some myths and prejudices about cannabis users, who are often stereotyped as lazy, intellectually deficient, or prone to delusions of madness, which, as can be seen in these associations, is quite the opposite. Members demand all kinds of activities to entertain themselves and stay active both mentally and physically.

The Grind Base association in Barcelona continues to offer a variety of activities and events for the enjoyment of its members. Among the latest offerings is the magic show presented by AniMag, featuring magician Anibal, a specialist in card tricks, and Arnau, a hypnotist, who once a month leave all the members amazed. Anibal went from table to table performing various tricks with poker cards, leaving everyone present astonished and amazed with his various divination tricks, card transportations, and even restoration, making a card appear where there had been nothing before—simply incredible.

On the other hand, we also had the hypnotist Arnau, who delighted us with a show full of incredible hypnosis tricks. After asking all the attendees who wanted to participate, a group of about twenty brave souls came forward to sit around the hypnotist, confident and relaxed, ready to be influenced. Through voice modulation and persuasive language, most of the participants gradually began to obey the commands and instructions given to them. We saw them fall asleep, forget their names or how to count, and we even saw one of the members think he was a police officer and that laughing was forbidden, so he came over to reprimand those of us who were laughing. It was an amazing show, and as members of the Grind Base association, we can enjoy it every month with the best smokes and in the best company.
